大約兩個星期前,即12月11號台灣高雄夢時代購物中心舉行了一個聖誕LEGO SHOW.
正式名為﹣ 樂高聖誕創意遊樂園，展期由2009年12月11日－12月27日（地點：夢時代三樓蛋型廣場）。
是次活動由香港商樂高香港有限公司台灣分公司（簡稱台樂）和台灣玩具反斗城合辨。
雖然由台樂方面主辨，但相信很多朋友都知道香港公司亦會作決策。
早於數月前已準備將09 MOC 20強作品移師高雄展出，
各參賽朋友亦早於十月中海運反斗城展覽後作適當的包裝，準備運送到台灣給當地朋友欣賞。

應港樂之邀請，前往高雄協助MOC作品”重建工程“。
蕉強不才，只好向數名大師級（阿T,小熊，步驚雲)求助，
原定12月9號到步開工，蕉強因有要事只好遲一天才到步跟大隊會合。
聞說第一天進度十分良好，三分之二作品已經修複好了，
而第二日(12月10號)亦順利完成所有工作。

期待12月11號活動的開幕典禮.

Today, 31st August, 2008 is the closing day of the “Big Fans of Mini Sports City”. During the 49 days of exhibition, more than 150 thousand visitors were record.

HKLUG has a wish: “To promote LEGO MOC idea to China people; to promote China to the international.” Through this Sports City LEGO exhibition, we have achieved this goal. Local mass media had reported about this event and attracted many people to visit. Many international WebPages compare the models in the LEGO Sports City with the Beijing National Aquatics Center (Water Cube) and Beijing National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) in China.

A lot of positive feedbacks were received during the exhibition. They were amazed with the lighting technique of the Water Cube. They were amazed with the building technique of the Bird’s Nest.

Once again, we would like to thank to the host and sponsor of Sun Hung Kei Properties Limited and Grand Century Place, and the support from LEGO Company Limited (Hong Kong).

We would like to share the happiness that 3 HKLUG members won the Hong Kong Scene Building Contest 2008. They are ChiuKeung, Antony Lau and Vincent.

 

Vincent designed the LEGO scene of Times Square and won the 3rd glory. It is the highest building (2’11”) among all competition models.

Times Square is always prosperous in real. Vincent had designed a lot of interesting scenes on the streets as well as inside the buildings. There were cinema, playground, jewelry shop, garden, ninja fight, spaceship base, and laboratory full in the commercial building. Visitors enjoyed finding out how humorous created by LEGO.

Antony Lau designed the LEGO scene of Magic Kingdom and won the 2nd glory. Antony always wishes to share his fairy tales with others and had chosen the Castle in Disneyland as the competition topic.

The Hong Kong Disneyland was opened on September 12, 2005. It is one of newest scenic spot recently. Magic Kingdom is the theme of Hong Kong Disneyland. Antony designed the Magic Kingdom Castle with many classic Disney LEGO mini-figures such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goffy.

The Castle was built on a base of 10 cm height. In front of the base, a mosaic of the word “Disneyland” was built with transparent brick. Colorful lighting effect was installed inside the base, so that the “Disneyland” was changing color in random.

ChiuKeung designed Hong Kong Cultural Centre and won the 1st glory. He has spent more than 250 hours to prepare and over 10 thousand bricks to build up the module of sized 3’(l) x 3’(w) x 2’(h).

Hong Kong Cultural Centre is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui of Hong Kong. It is an irregular building with many curve surfaces. ChiuKeung showed up his amazing building technique to make the surfaces of the LEGO model smooth. He also built Clock Tower, a well-known landmark in Hong Kong, beside Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

A Symphony of Lights is a synchronized building exterior decorative light and laser multimedia display, featuring buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbor of Hong Kong accompanied by symphonic music. It is organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. Displayed every night w at 8pm Hong Kong Time, the show is an orchestration of music, decoration lights, laser light displays, and pyrotechnic fireworks. Chiu-Keung modeled a similar lighting effect on his Hong Kong Cultural Centre as well. The building was lighted up with different color in random by time.

More than 50 LEGO designs were submitted and 10 of the designs were selected to display for public.
The HK Scene Buildings must be made by LEGO materials. It was allowed to decorate the design by lighting, sound, motor or other electrical/electronic effect. The model size was range from 15”x15”x15” to 3’x3’x3’. The mark depended on the proportion of using LEGO, building technique, creativity, appearance, topic, details, and introduction.
Top 10 products were displayed in “Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong” (ACGHK), located in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, because LEGO Company Limited (Hong Kong) had a large kiosks and display this year. ACGHK had attracted over 618 thousand people. Over 30 thousand visitors had voted the LEGO buildings independently.
It is so proud that 4 HKLUG members’ products were selected in top 10. The followings are their LEGO models and descriptions.

Murray House (美利樓) by Andy Bear
Murray House is a Victorian-era building in Stanley in Hong Kong. The building is relocated from Central. Built in 1844, it is part of Murray Barracks when Hong Kong was under the 4th year of British rule as a crown colony. It was named after Sir George Murray, the British Master-General of the Ordnance at the time of construction. The designer and constructor are Major Aldrich and Lieutenant Collinson of the Royal Engineers. It was initially used as barracks by the British military. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murray_House)
Murray House is now situated in Stanley, after the relocation.

 

 

Magic Kingdom (神奇王國) by Antony Lau
The Magic Kingdom is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. The first park built at the resort, it opened on October 1, 1971. The park saw an estimated 17 million visitors in 2007, making it the most visited theme park in the world. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Kingdom)

 
Cultural Centre (文化中心) by Chiu-Keung
The Hong Kong Cultural Centre is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui of Hong Kong. Located at Salisbury Road, it was founded by the former Urban Council and, after 2000, is administered by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong Government. It is a place for a wide variety of cultural performances.

HKLUG presents LEGO Sport City. It is currently one of the most amazing LEGO productions ever in China. The theme of this city is the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Swimming Cube, Nest Sports Ground and Sport Village were built as a landmark of this LEGO city. 300,000 bricks and 4,500 mini-figures are used to construct a 3m x 8m artistic show. HKLUG would like to promote LEGO creative culture to local public as well as promote China to international by LEGO.

呢件作品係想表現一幅以天星瑪頭鐘樓為主體既插畫
為加強效果,特意砌出一個大比例既鐘樓以作對比.
作品趕及聚會中展出, 蕉強花點心思 砌左個菲林框,擺放好最住距離,讓朋友們可拍攝出最有格調既相.
唔知當日有幾多人了解蕉強既心意呢? :)

舊中環天星碼頭(正確係第三代)及鐘樓已經於去年底被拆卸,
大家只可以借相片勉懷過去, 或者不妨亦親手砌番件作為紀念.

其實我最喜愛既係呢隻 迷你天星小輪, (我希望呢件作品得大獎多過mini building架)係聚會前幾日突然有念頭,(其實係回應史奈達出既對聯 ) 本來個比例係再細一半, 但砌砌下發覺咁樣個效果會更好, 於是索性砌大佢啦. 隻小輪會更像真.其實個船底有更好既砌法, 但礙於綠色modified件不夠而退而求其次. 如果大家有興趣既, 我樂意分享其拼砌方法,希望大家喜歡!!

上兩個月出產左好多機械人作品, 期間腦力過份透支,大戰過後久久未能振作過黎,
唯有改變題材, 近期愛上拼砌迷你建築物, Vignette 始終都係日本人做得好, 早排到brickshelf遊歷時
見到一位會員MUMU 拼砌個 MINI 10182, 十分喜歡,蕉強亦跟佢,估下又改下之下clone左隻出黎.
蕉強無意扮大師,亦唔係人仔倉”新小朋友會員”, 所以先旨聲明唔係我原創既.

雖然mini 10182 係參考人家既,但都改左唔少位(其實講穿左,只係唔夠人地咁多件啫)

10182: Cafe’ Corner

除左cafe’ corner既砌法之外, 蕉強真真正正落手拼砌另外幾個建築物模型,
係10182 說明書中既alternative, 蕉強當然唔會放過啦, 咁先好玩o麻.

同樣用8×8大小自創既作品,
Mansion

用呢類既砌法真係十分好玩, 屋與屋之間仲可以左拼右拼,效果一流.
不過缺點係會迅速消耗你屋企既Mini parts.
如果有多d朋友一齊砌埋個mini 城一定好靚.
